What You’ll Learn

Each four-hour session covers four Thai dishes, with multiple menu options available. You’ll make curry paste from scratch, learn wok fundamentals, and prepare dishes from start to finish at your own fully-equipped cooking station.

The Market Tour

The tuk-tuk market tour is Maliwan’s signature touch. Your instructor leads the group on a short tuk-tuk ride through old Bangkok streets to a local fresh market, where you’ll learn about Thai ingredients and see the raw materials of your upcoming meal. The tuk-tuk ride itself is a highlight — wind in your hair, temples flashing by, Bangkok at its most atmospheric.

The Kitchen & Facilities

The cooking school features a clean, air-conditioned kitchen with individual workstations for each student. The small group cap of 8 means plenty of space and attention. Printed recipes and a cooking certificate are provided at the end.
