Overview

WOW Park is an interactive museum combining optical illusions, science experiments, and immersive experiences across multiple themed zones. Located on the 5th floor of Gateway Ekamai, it transforms scientific principles into hands-on fun that captivates both children and adults.

Exhibits include the Ames Room (which makes people appear giant or tiny), infinity mirror rooms, a reverse room where everything is upside down, gravity-defying spaces, and hands-on science experiments. Nearly every exhibit is designed to be touched, played with, and photographed.

Why It’s Special

WOW Park excels at making science accessible and entertaining. The mind-bending illusions fascinate children — the Ames Room alone can keep families laughing for 20 minutes as they photograph each other at dramatically different apparent sizes. The educational content is woven naturally into the fun, with clear explanations of the science behind each illusion.

The interactive photo opportunities at every turn make this one of the most “shareable” family experiences in Bangkok. Children feel like active participants rather than passive observers.

For Medical Tourists

WOW Park is an excellent low-demand option that works from recovery week 1. The indoor, air-conditioned setting with flat surfaces means minimal physical strain. A 1.5–2 hour visit fits easily around hospital schedules, and the BTS connection makes it effortless to reach.

Plan your visit: Last admission is 19:00 even though the mall stays open later. Combine with Kidzooona (4th floor, same mall) for a half-day of indoor entertainment.

Getting There

BTS Ekkamai station (Exit 2) connects directly to Gateway Ekamai. WOW Park is on the 5th floor — take the elevator or escalator from the main entrance.
